This property is located 15 miles from the heart of Gulf Shores. It is a 3 bed, two bath, sleeps 6 and is nestled in the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge, and just a few miles from the Fort Morgan ferry to and from Dauphin Island. The beach is a short 1/2 mile from the property. There is a large zero entry community pool and tennis court. There are rentals nearby for golf carts that you can rent for the day or the week to get to the beach if you would like. Also fishing and kayak rentals. This is in a wildlife refuge, so you might see an alligator and other animals. The marsh is located just steps from the screened in porch. There are a couple of restaurants close by but most restaurants are located in the city limits of Gulf Shores. There is a small market close by for small items that you may forget. If you want to be close to the action this property may not be for you. It is secluded. There are several units in this community called the Rookery. However the way they are designed, you feel like you have the place to yourself. We just purchased this unit and have replaced most of the furniture and made it more modern and beach like. The third bedroom has a bed and not a pull out couch. The master bed is a king and the other two beds are queens. The unit has wifi and direct TV in living area and all bedrooms. Hope you enjoy!
